What questions should I ask when renting a bounce house?
All bounce house companies operating in Ohio are required by law to be inspected by the State of Ohio Amusement Rides Division and carry the required liability insurance. Don’t take chances… before hiring just any bounce house rental company, ask to see a copy of their Certificate of Insurance and call The State of Ohio Amusement Rides Division (614-728-6280) to inquire that the company is in good standing. It’s for YOUR protection!
Who will deliver the bouncer and when will it arrive?
We will provide you with a window of time in which the bouncer will be delivered. Most deliveries will arrive within 1 hour of your event. A Party Peeps employee will deliver, setup, secure and take down all equipment. We do not offer customer pick-up.
Are your bouncers clean?
YES! And we can’t emphasize this enough! It is very important that your children have a safe and enjoyable experience. We clean and disinfect the bouncers after each use and inspect them once again upon set-up.
Is supervision required?
YES, for safety reasons, it is Ohio law that adult supervision is required at all times while the bouncer is occupied by children.
How long is a rental period?
Our rental period starts at 4 hours, however additional rental time can be added for a additional fee.
Can you provide a bouncer attendant?
Yes, we can provide an event attendant for a fee of $25.00 per hour with a 4 hour minimum. * Prices and availability are subject to change. Holiday attendant rates will vary.
How much space will I need for a bouncer?
Our bouncers vary in size. For the Sports Arena and Football Bouncer you will need a minimum space of 20 x 20 feet, for the Castle Combo with Slide you will need a minimum space of 30 x 20 feet. The site area needs to be flat and clear of any sharp objects or debris like rocks, sticks and dog droppings before the unit can be in place. If you are unsure which bouncer is right for you please ask.
What utilities are needed?
All of our bouncers are inflated by an electric blower. The blower will plug into normal 3 prong household outlet. The outlet must be within 100 ft of the blower. If the blower is placed more than 100 feet from the outlet then a generator will be necessary. We will be able to rent a generator to you based on availability.
Is there a rental Agreement?
Yes, at the time of your reservation, we will send you a rental agreement. We ask that you read it completely, sign it and return it with your deposit within 5 days. Once we receive your deposit and the signed rental agreement, your reservation will be confirmed. When we arrive on the day of your event, we will review all of the safety rules and operating instructions and answer any questions you may have.
Is Party Peeps licensed and insured?
Yes, we are inspected and licensed every year by the Ohio Department of Agriculture – Amusement Rides Safety Division. We are also fully insured and will provide a copy of our insurance upon request.
What are your methods of payment?
We accept cash, checks and credit cards (credit cards have a 4% processing fee). Payment in full must be made at time of delivery and before any equipment is set up.
What weather conditions will cause a cancellation?
We will not set up in the snow, rain, muddy conditions or high winds in excess of 20 mile per hour. In the event that bad weather is forecast the morning of your event, you will be given the option to cancel prior to delivery and you will receive a full refund. If you decide to proceed with the delivery and set up, then the full amount of the rental is due and is non-refundable at time of delivery even if the event is cut short due to bad weather.
